i have had a twitter handle for a while now – mostly because i wanted to make sure i could get the one i wanted, even though misha was taken, boo! – but i hadn’t tweeted anything for months.
when i was in indiana a few weeks ago, my cousin kendra convinced me that i should be tweeting. even if it is just a link to a blog post.
so, i have tweeted a handful of times. two to be exact.
i don’t know if how much i will be tweeting in the future, but if you are interested in following me, my handle is: mishacslower {same as instagram}.
do you tweet? if you do, leave your handle in the comments, i would love to follow you!

{we took our out-of-town guests on the theo’s chocolate factory tour in fremont. highly recommended!}
{highlight of the chocolate tour: you get to wear hairnets. yes, i am donning two hair nets as one was not sufficient to cover my top knot.}
{a blurry but beautiful shot of the emerald city from the famous kerry park. no, the space needle is not in the middle of downtown, it just looks like it from this viewpoint.}
{dinner during a movie at iPic in redmond with my grandmother. we saw flight which was pretty darn good. sad but good.}
{my grandmother in her adorable stripey jacket & christmas lights at redmond town center!}
we had an action-packed weekend with lots of family & friends. fall is definitely in the air as the leaves are turning beautiful colors & falling all over. luckily it appears our leaf raking will be minimal this fall! we are enjoying the new season thus far (especially the extra hour of sleep this morning!) but would be happy to see the rain go away. how was your weekend?

our front porch is decorated with pumpkins & our candy bins are overflowing in preparation for the neighborhood kids to trick-or-treat at the lower house tomorrow! there is also a neighborhood parade where the kids get to show off their costumes – so excited!
we hope you have a spooky (& safe) halloween!

we had a fun fall weekend, but as always, it went way too fast! how was your weekend?
M
we are OOF* today so there won’t be any my weekend in pictures post today. sad, i know. but, i have scheduled some posts & i will be back next week for regularly scheduled programming.
for your viewing pleasure, i will leave you with a picture of where we are this week.
any guesses? {i will have non-googled pictures to share when we get back!}
how was your weekend?
M
*does anyone understand why the acronym for out of office is OOF & not OOO? or even OFF? OOF makes no sense. none at all.
the weekend before last – when we were in indiana – i was able to check another item off my thirty before thirty list thanks to our friend colt!
number twenty-eight: attend an NLF game. i always assumed that the nfl game i would attend would be a seahawks game, given that they play roughly eight games per season in the city i call home. obviously i haven’t made it down to a game in the almost seven years i have lived here. i digress. when we got to colt’s house on friday night, he surprised us with tickets to the colts game that up-coming sunday. to say that we were surprised would be an understatement. aaron is an avid colts fan, being from indiana & all, but had never seen them play at lucas oil field, & obviously attending a game was high on my list. we got to tailgate outside the stadium before the game started, & once inside at our seats, we experienced what a fun stadium lucas oil is. the roof was open to let in the sun & the crowd was great. the colts ended up losing a close game at the last minute, but it was still fun to be there cheering them on in person!
go colts!
have you been to an nfl game this season?

one of the reasons we picked the weekend before last to take a trip to the midwest was so that i could attend meg’s baby shower. {sidenote: meg is a cousin of one of aaron’s cousins, but that is just semantics & i consider meg family!}
one of the really fun parts about the shower is that kendra & i kept our trip on the DL, & showed up as surprise guests for meg. so fun!
aaron’s aunt & cousins – sharon, abbi, & maggi – threw the shower & they did such a wonderful job. the décor was so adorable & i was loving the color scheme. meg knows that she is having a boy, but i love that the shower didn’t scream “BOY!”
{those cake pops were delish // a fun sign for baby GB}
{stripey straws for the drinks // fun colored candy}
{maggi, meg, kendra, & kenley // mama & daughter}
{meg was spoiled with lots of love in the form of presents!}
{meg opening presents with her sister kait by her side // kenley wanted in on the present-opening action}
{meg enjoying a handmade card // i made some art of meg’s nursery}
{love you meg & happy shower!}
where is the farthest you have flown for a baby shower?
M
p.s. maggi, abbi, meg, & kendra all have blogs, so if you aren’t already a reader, you should definitely check them out!
