fashion friday {a fall cape}.

after being completely inspired by new york fashion week {along with my favorite fashion blogs – atlantic-pacific & 9to5 chic} & a little demand from blog readers, i am going to give fashion fridays another shot. aaron & i are still in the learning process {both behind & in front of the camera) so hang in there with us! i am not sure how i feel about this more formal fashion blogger shoot so you may see some more casual #ootd posts to come.

fall is upon us here in seattle with crisp mornings & turning leaves. my wardrobe definitely got the memo, & i pulled out my fall must-haves: frye boots & wool jacket.

well, no one totally opposed & i remembered to take a few outfit pictures this week, so here we go with another fashion friday post. {also, i promise if this becomes a normal thing that i will get a tri-pod so you don’t have to endure the iPhone & mirror photos.}

so i went on a work shopping spree at ann taylor when i first started my job, hence all of the ann taylor in my wardrobe. do you dress up for work?

i have been thinking about doing a fashion feature for a while, but many things have kept me from doing it. then, i decided that i should at least give it a try & see how it goes.

i am going to shoot for at least one outfit a week & then do one post on fridays with as many outfits as i remember to take photos of (or are worth sharing). best case these posts will incentivize me to dress cute at least once a week & worst case i stop doing a fashion post.

also, i know iPhone pictures aren’t the best, but it seems like a lot of work to get out the big camera. plus, then i would have to recruit a photographer!
