{month twenty} Oh my gosh, this kid. We had some sunny weather over the past few weeks (on and off) and he has been in heaven. This child LIVES for being outside. He asks for a “walk” twelve times per day. And then once he’s out, he either wants to dig in the dirt or be “up” which means you carry him around the block!
Also, those overalls he’s wearing in the last photo are Aaron’s old overalls. All of the kids have worn them and it’s so special. They fit him perfectly right now. He loves to play with the buckles. Shocking, I know.
Fitz’s language is exploding these days. Babbling every moment of the day – it’s so sweet to hear him chatting to himself. He repeats everything that he hears. Points to everything he doesn’t know and asks what it is. Rinse and repeat.
A few cute things he’s saying: Doo Doo (Baby Shark), No No (We Don’t Talk About Bruno – from Encanto), cheese (any time he sees a phone and thinks someone is taking a picture), and Blue (Bluey – the cutest kids’ show).
He also has been starting to sing with me when I put him to bed. I always sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” right before I put him in his crib, and he has started singing right along. But he starts to sing and then giggles, and we just burst into laughter together.
Fitz has been a bit under the weather since yesterday. I think he picked up a cold that Daphne brought home (she’s had a cough, but has tested negative for Covid multiple times). He had a fever and was sick multiple times – poor kid – but seems to be in pretty good spirits. We are hoping he’s on the mend soon!

{teeth} 12 teeth and 5 molars (+ working on his other 2 year molars)
{eyes} dark grey-green with light brown around his pupils (hazel)
{clothes} 18 month (jammies + pants), and 2T shirts + pants + jammies
{diapers} size 5 in Abby & Finn + Honest Overnight diapers in size 5 for nighttime
{feeding} 4-5 oz sippy cup in the morning, 4 oz sippy cups with lunch, and 4-5 oz sippy cup with dinner. solids for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and 1 or 2 snacks.
{likes} balls, music + dancing, food, the dining room chairs, the slide, his water cup, chewing on everything, crawling + chasing toys, faces, head & face rubs, stretching, his sisters, his reflection, Gee his giraffe stuffie, bath time (but likes to stand).
{dislikes} being in his car seat, diaper changes, being stuck, getting his face wiped off after meals, not being included.
