So Santa. As you can see, the girls really had such a good time. Ha!
We kept up with tradition and went to the Santa at the downtown Nordy’s with our same friends, and we waited about 10 minutes. It was lovely. And the girls were really interested in Santa when we were able to see him with the kids who were ahead of us in line. Daphne was waving and saying “hello” and Eloise was excited to see him and give him the letter she wrote for him.
And then we actually got to see him and it went downhill. Very quickly. Eloise has been very clear that she doesn’t want to sit on Santa’s lap, but didn’t want a chair or a rocking horse either. And Daphne didn’t really want anything to do with any of it, so I just stuck her in Santa’s lap and let the photographer work his magic. Haha. Daphne was so, so sad, and Eloise turned into a sullen 14 year old. Send help!
But then since then, Santa is still a beloved person in our house. Daphne points at his picture fondly and Eloise chats about how she saw him this year.
Did you visit Santa this year?
