Three weeks ago (!) we celebrated Eloise’s FOURTH birthday with a purple popsicle party, per the birthday girl’s request. I wanted to do something a little lower-key this year since birthday party invite lists tend to get slightly out-of-control, but Eloise has inherited my love of parties (and hosting) so we had a smallish gathering at our house of her close friends. And I kept it easy by not having a huge food spread, just watermelon slices, cake, & popsicles, & drinks, of course! The weather was a little overcast, but it was warm enough for the kids to play outside and we had so much fun celebrating Eloise!
{The CUTEST invite from (my go-to) Paperless Post!}
A HUGE thank you to our friend Jess for picking up our camera and photographing the entire event! We would’ve had about 4 iPhone pictures otherwise!
Party details: popsicle garland (DIY) // cupcakes: Trophy Cupcake (custom) // favors: DIY rice krispy treats with purple sprinkles // letterboard & stand: Letterfolk (Poet) // white cakestand: Crate & Barrel (old) // clear cake stand: Pottery Barn (old) // Daphne’s dress: June & January // Eloise’s dress: Hanna Andersson (old) // balloons: Display & Costume // party hats: DIY (from last year’s party) // tablecloth: Gathre x Studio McGee
Happy Birthday Eloise! I hope you loved your popsicle party!
