project baby #2 {week 19}

{letter board: Letter Folk // tunic: Old Navy (old)}

{week 19} 19 weeks, what? Does it seem super fast to anyone else? To be fair though, while it feels like I have blinked & I am 19 weeks along, it also seems sooo slooow. I guess that’s thanks to early detection pregnancy tests! #technology

As the day progresses, my belly gets bigger (a food baby & a real baby!) but I am really ready for this bump to really pop! I am finally into a pair of maternity leggings though (so comfy even though the top of the waistband goes up to my bra!) but they are super comfy so I sport them in the evenings. And I also finally fit into maternity jeans! These Madewell ones are fantastic for me right now because they fit my small belly well & they don’t stretch out at all during the day (which is why I LOVE Madewell jeans in general). My only complaint, which I knew from the reviews, is the color is super light meaning they are really just for casual outfits; not terrible for a stay-at-home-mom but I prefer dark denim. I need to re-do my DIY maternity jeans that I made with a pair of my beloved Skinny Skinny Madewell jeans since the first time around I didn’t use the right type of elastic and I will share if it’s successful!

I am hoping it was just a fluke following my Sunday afternoon Pure Barre class, but all evening and night on Sunday I had pretty severe lower back pain which I am assuming is sciatic pain (super common in pregnancy). Of course, the only thing I wanted to do was pop an ibuprofen – darn you pregnancy! Fingers crossed this was a one-off thing & won’t linger for the next 21 weeks.

We are excited that next week we have our 20 week ultrasound & get to see Baby Foot again! I will be sure to share any updates in next week’s post.

Happy 19 weeks! If you are curious, here is my 19th week with Eloise.
