{one} childhoods clothing.

{via Childhoods Clothing}

surprisingly, I don’t buy a lot of clothes for eloise. thanks in part to her Grammie & Nana (thanks!) & also because it seems like such a waste. even now that eloise isn’t growing out of things at the speed of light (i.e., wearing something more than once) I still can’t justify buying clothes for her just for the sake of buying clothes (however cute!). this means that when I do buy something, it’s often a splurge. I like good quality clothes & really love supporting small businesses (if possible). much like my love for Freshly Picked moccasins (which are the ONLY footwear eloise sports these days, not even socks!) enter: Childhoods. I recently got eloise a black & white striped hoodie (see here) & I am obsessed. it’s soft & well made & I wish it came in my size. eloise doesn’t like that it has to go over her head, but is comfortable in it once its on. the only downside is that the hoodies seem to run small; I ordered a 9 to 12 months hoping to get a lot of life out of it, but it fits eloise perfectly right now. I know she is slightly large for her age, but she’s no where close to 12 months! maybe I can get another during a sale… also, I am obsessed with these sweat shorts!

{two} moments journal.

{via Anthropologie}

I adore paper planners & journals. up until last year I used a Moleskine day planner religiously. in my new life (as a mama) I find that my Gmail calendar works much better since it is on my phone & sends me reminders. however, I miss the paper & pen part of my days, so when I came across this “moments” planner at Anthro a few months ago, I had to get it. there are three parts: monthly calendar blocks (you can add in any months you want to); to do lists (with checkboxes!); & grid paper (for planning). for me, this is so perfect. I can see the entire year at a glance with all of the big stuff penciled in, have as many to do lists as I need, & places to store all of my thoughts & ideas for, well, everything (future projects, DIYs, etc.).

{three} fiddle fig tree.

I am not the very best at taking care of plants, but I am sort of obsessed with fiddle fig trees. I think I want one somewhere in my house. in the entryway, or our bedroom perhaps?

what are you loving this week?
